Who I am
Here you'll discover what drives my passion for birth and postpartum support.
I offer warmth, kindness and compassion to every family I serve.
Read on to learn more about my journey and how I can support yours.
My approach to doula work is rooted in Italian and Mediterranean traditions, enriched by Arabic and ayurvedic cultural influences, and deeply guided by the wisdom of grandmothers, where birth, rest, nourishment, and community are honoured as sacred.
I became a doula after the birth of my daughter. She was breech, and I had a planned caesarean section. What followed was a long and emotionally challenging journey: prolonged hospitalisation due to my daughter's jaundice, and a difficult feeding experience that tested my confidence as a new mother. During that time, I felt both vulnerable and transformed.
Postpartum and breastfeeding were not the gentle beginnings I had imagined. I faced uncertainty, exhaustion, and moments of self-doubt. Yet throughout this time, the midwifery care I received was exceptional.
Their evidence-based knowledge, compassionate presence, and respectful support deeply shaped me and became a turning point in my journey.
Through healing, reflection, and education, I came to understand that I could have birthed vaginally and at home if I wanted to,but at the time, I didn’t trust myself. Not because I lacked strength, but because I lacked information, reassurance, and belief in my own body.
That realisation became the foundation of my work.
Their knowledge, compassion, and respectful support planted a seed in me. Through my own healing and learning, I came to understand my call to serve women and their families.
That experience changed literally everything in my life.
It gave me confidence, knowledge, strength, and a deep calling to support other women so they never feel unheard, uninformed, or alone in their choices.
Today, I advocate for women and birthing people to have their wishes and expectations respected by providing evidence, based information, emotional support, and gentle guidance so they can make informed decisions with confidence and safely.
As a doula, I walk beside you,not to tell you what to do, but to remind you of your power, your voice, and your right to be listened and supported to.
Volunteer & Access Support
Alongside my paid services, I am proud to offer free doula support to families facing financial hardship through
Doulas Without Borders and as an Access Fund Doula with Doula UK.

Inspired by motherhood
The birth of my daughter by C-section changed me. It opened my eyes to how deeply families need compassionate support, real information and someone to stand beside them.
That experience became my inspiration to serve families with care, empathy and huge respect.
My own C-section birth experience opened my heart to the needs of other parents. The challenges, beauty and vulnerability I lived through inspired me to serve families with care, education and advocacy.
Today, as a doula, I provide support that helps families feel prepared, respected, connected and listened to—no matter how or where you will give birth;I'll stand beside you, with you.
